EDU 5+ check
DM-1 for every previous career
(assignment changes do not count!)
Advancement:
END 5+ check
if result less or equal to the number of terms in Citizen career, must leave career after this term
if 12+ must stay in Citizen career next term
Survival:
INT 7+ check
on success, roll on Citizen Career Events Table
on failure, roll on Citizen Career Mishaps Table
Duration:
normal Term duration
Skills and Training:
Get Training before the Survival roll
If this is the first Term in Citizen career, take basic training
Otherwise select training as normal
Basic Training for Colonist assignment from Colonist table
If this is the first Career, gain all skills at level 0
Otherwise select one skill to gain at level 0
If the Advancement roll is successful, get another Training
Select any table for training, provided requirements are met
Roll for or Select an item on the table, depending on optional rules used
Unless otherwise stated, gain skill at level 1 or increase it by 1 level, but no higher than level 4
