Students and teachers identify success criteria and establish learning intentions for all areas of the curriculum. These are used to assess achievement.
Students receive awards, certificates and stickers for extra effort.
Students receive class and principal's awards at school assemblies in recognition of meeting expectations.
Special achievements at school or out of school are shared in assembly and may be published in the school newsletter.
At the end of the school year awards are presented. These include:

Thwaites Contracting Award- for outstanding community contribution
Leadership Award- outstanding leader
School Vision Award- Demonstrating School's values
O'Connor Family Outstanding Sportsmanship Award- in a range of sporting endeavours
Ricoh Sport Award- Success in one sport
Cultural Award- Excellent results in school-wide cultural endeavours
Performing Arts Award
Anne Howe Memorial Trophy- all year, classroom effort and social aspects of the class programme
