Board Induction 

The board is committed to ensuring continuity of governance and a smooth transition when new members join the board.
New members will receive a welcome pack on their joining the board which includes:

·       the date of the next board meeting

·        presiding member and principal contact details.

·       strategic and annual plans

·       policies (online link)

·       current budget (financial statement)

·       minutes of the last open board meeting

·       any other relevant material.

The principal and/ or presiding member/ delegate will brief all new members on the organisational structure of the school. 

The principal will conduct a site visit of the school.

Board members are to be advised of the professional development that is available from  relevant providers.
