Good day to All!

This week we'll be working on a couple of different websites. The first one is bomomo.com/ which is a fun art creation page written in Java. It has a variety of tools the students can use to create some really interesting art work which can then be downloaded and saved to your computer. Check out the website and give all of the art tools a try. It's fun for the children create some really unique masterpieces!

The second lesson for the week will be creating their own video game at Sploder.com

1. Go to Sploder.com

2. At the top of the page click on "Make a Game".

3. Click on "Platform Creator".

4. You have have to allow your Flash Player to run. To do so click on "Enable Flash" and then Click "Allow" on the box that appears.

5. Click "Demo" to start creating a game.

6. On your left will be many options of what you can add to your screen IE: Blocks & Tiles, Walls & Decorations, etc. Be sure to add some enemies and hazards on the screen.

7. When ready to play just click on "Test" at the top of the screen and then "Test Level".

8. After that press the yellow "Click to Play" button that appears.

9. You move your character by pressing the arrow keys and the spacebar on your computer.

10. That's it! Click around on the other buttons during the creation of your game to see what other options are available.
