Hello again!

One thing that most of the students in 2nd Grade really seemed to enjoy was creating their own video game. The website sploder.com gives them the opportunity to do this and it was pretty impressive how creative students could get using the various tools that this website provides. Here is how to access the area where the children can make their unique game.

1. Go to Sploder.com

2. At the top of the page click on "Make a Game".

3. Click on "Platform Creator".

4. You have have to allow your Flash Player to run. To do so click on "Enable Flash" and then Click "Allow" on the box that appears.

5. Click "Demo" to start creating a game.

6. On your left will be many options of what you can add to your screen IE: Blocks & Tiles, Walls & Decorations, etc. Be sure to add some enemies and hazards on the screen.

7. When ready to play just click on "Test" at the top of the screen and then "Test Level".

8. After that press the yellow "Click to Play" button that appears.

9. You move your character by pressing the arrow keys and the spacebar on your computer.

10. That's it! Click around on the other buttons during the creation of you game to see what other options are available
