Hi Folks!

This week we'll be going to TURTLEDIARY.COM. It's a website that focuses on on math, language arts and science. Besides the science games that we'll be working on this week, TurtleDiary has several other resources that can be used at home.

1. Open your web browser and go to TURTLEDIARY.COM

2. At the top of the page click on where it says "2nd"

3. Click on the box that says "Games". (Please note that this page also has a multitude of other resources you can implement such as home assessment tests, worksheet generators, science experiments, etc. They are certainly worth looking into!)

4. In the 'Games' section please scroll down to the 'Science Games' area. About 2/3 of the way down the page.

5. Have you student choose games from the 'Science Games' section. Please keep them focused on this area for the first 25 minute lesson for the week. For their second 25 minute lesson of the week on, say, next Thursday, have them check out the 'Math Games' section.

Some of these games are quite helpful if you would like your child to develop an interest in science! Again, this website is a great resource for parents and students alike!
