Expedition Unreasonable
The Magical Unicorn Of Balgay
is a short mockumentary film based loosely on
the TV series Expedition Unknown.
This "episode" deals with the search for a Magical Unicorn and features many of the actual unicorns found here in Dundee as well as featuring numerous landmarks and places of special interest in the city.
The story follows the presenter as he tours the city showing the many unicorns that we are familiar with before setting off with the local expert to gain information about and ultimately find evidence of the Magical Unicorn Of Balgay.
Featured are the HMS Unicorn, The Mercat Cross Unicorn and a Unicorn at the fountain in the city square.
There are ample opportunities for gentle humour as well as many truly iconic shots of the real star of the show which is of course the City Of Dundee itself.

Fuckington St - A Lockdown Love Story
It is a hybrid animation/puppet satirical comedy movie.
Apocalypse Barbie is our heroine, a destitute prostitute with an abusive pimp, she eventually finds love but not without having numerous adventures.
There are battles and betrayals, lots of laughs, maybe a few tears and even a visit from the ghost of Jeffrey Epstein
Written and directed by celebrated Dundonian Film Maker Glenn Millar (Bored Of the Rings, Oh My Dog, Godsend, Tambo and Juliet etc)
It was filmed entirely at home in a tenement flat, and features an extensive soundtrack of original music. Voice actors provided multiple character voices safely and remotely.
This is a Lockdown Movie, director Glenn Millar wanted to overcome the creative purgatory of our Covid restricted world as we wait for normal life to begin again, so cardboard sets, puppets and animation, voice actors and more were used to safely produce a feature length piece of entertainment.
It's funny, it looks good, it sounds great and now it's freely available to anyone who wants it.

TAMBO and JULIET
A feature length through the looking glass view of William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, reinterpreted in the context of two feuding football families. Set in modern day Dundee and spoken in full local dialect with full English subtitles, the film lends a new perspective to the tale as Tambo MacKenzie, an optimistic yet ill fated lad, falls hopelessly in love with the headstrong Juliet Campbell. Emotions running high, escalating conflict leads to murder and the lovers make one last bid for escape. Gritty, funny and poignant, with an ultra low five hundred pound budget belying its sharp execution, this captivating story gives new relevance to Shakespeare's timeless tale. Dundee's landscapes and living rooms are transformed, making the city one of the stars of the show.

ARCANA MENTIS DEUM
Arcana Mentis Deum was born of an epiphany, a realisation that we have lost a once important aspect of our lives and living rooms - The Album Cover. Once a unique source of Art and Inspiration, it has been phased out and never replaced. Arcana Mentis Deum seeks to redress this tragedy by showing once more that Art and Music can and should co-exist together. Drawing its inspiration from the great “concept albums” of the past it was conceived and actualised as both music and visual art, the center of which is the Album Cover itself, elevated to status of sculpture and presented as a conceptual art installation. Music and Art coming together to produce something greater than sum of its parts. The Point is that modern music, whilst stored digitally, can nevertheless be packaged with a physical object pleasing to the eye and to the touch, an object that brings greater meaning to the musical journey and informs the audience with Sight as well as Sound.

BORED OF THE RINGS
Bored Of The Rings Parts 1, 2 and 3 - a feature length ultra-low budget digital movie project. It is an satirical parody of the Lord of the Rings story, as expressed in both book and film. And although inspired in concept by the excellent Bored of the Rings book by Harvard Lampoon, B.O.R. the Movie is an original work. insofar as a spoof of a film of a book can be.....whatever that is!
