Resonance

Resonance cannot be purchased, farmed, or earned simply by spending time online.

It grows through meaningful roleplay, lasting contributions to the community, and participation in the stories that shape Ghosts of Savannah.

Characters naturally build Resonance by becoming part of the city's ongoing history. Recommendations are made by faction leaders when appropriate, with Resonance ultimately awarded by the Story Team in recognition of sustained contribution rather than isolated accomplishments.

Like Experience, Resonance progresses through six levels, representing the growing influence your character has upon Savannah.

Each time your character gains a Resonance Level, they receive one Resonance Point, which may be used to increase either Presence or Will.

Unlike Experience, Resonance does not improve your abilities or unlock new powers. Instead, it reflects the weight your character's story carries within the city and its supernatural community. These points are not stackable on skills that use Presence or Will

Resonance provides a situational bonus to Presence or Will whenever your character's established place within Savannah's story would reasonably influence an interaction.

Whether dealing with the living, the dead, or the unseen forces that shape the city, Resonance reflects the lingering influence of your character's actions rather than supernatural power or social status.

Resonance does not automatically grant leadership, nor does leadership automatically grant Resonance. Instead, it reflects the confidence, respect, and recognition your character has earned through meaningful participation in the world. As Resonance grows, opportunities may arise to mentor others, represent an organization, or accept Roles carrying greater responsibility.
