November 14, 1930: Stuart M. Stout publishes the first issue of the Warm Springs Advertiser; the paper circulates weekly for the rest of its run.
October 30, 1931: C. D. Veeder and L. M. Weinberg, both patients at the Georgia Warm Springs Foundation, assume editorial control and change the title to the Warm Springs Mirror. Stout remains owner and publisher.
Fall 1933: H. E. Poor purchases the Mirror from Stuart M. Stout who later revives the defunct Chipley News and becomes Warm Springs mayor in 1950.
January 1951: Ralph M. Rice, publisher of the Manchester Mercury, expands his newspaper business by purchasing the Warm Springs Mirror and Tri-County Review (Chipley).
January 29, 1954: Mirror ceases publication.

University of Georgia Press (pg. 410): "Edward Stout [later editor of the West Georgian and Red & Black college newspapers] for a time was leasee, editor, and publisher, assisted by his father, but the Mirror reverted to the elder Stout. . ."
