  • 1874 D.B. Freeman editor. Described in Rowell as "good local and family paper, official paper of three counties"
  • 1895 Jasmes A. Hall, editor, and W.W. Wilson publisher
  • Times Journal Inc. based in Marietta, Ga. acquired the newspaper in February 2015.
