My name is Benjamin, I am a solo developer from Denmark and the CEO / Creator of Aza Game Studio. Primarily focusing on the horror genre. I have a background in IT / Software development and in the artist world being a artist and a tattoo artist. I love all things dark and creepy.
My game or one of my upcoming major titles to Steam is called Dead Faces. It’s a mind bending psychological horror taking a less linear approach to horror and a more psychological one then seen in any previously released horror game. The game is inspired by my own life and by the movie Jacobs Ladder 1990.
In Dead Faces you must unravel the main protagonist’s Jack's disturbing mind, the faces from his past and the ultimate truth behind his actions. The game has multiple chapters that can be started independently from mirrors in your apartment which takes you down different memories and locations, in Dead Faces there’s a heavy focus on randomized hallucinations, mind bending visuals and atmosphere.
Dead Faces uses Unity 6 and has currently been upgraded and will be receiving a new playable teaser demo besides the old prologue demo which has gathered millions of views and over 250.000+ downloads across all platforms, further more the game is slated for Q4 Dec 2025 Release and might also come to PlayStation as i have secured a possible deal with a publisher.
I think one of the main things many developers deal with and which you can only learn through producing many games is being able to work efficient and scope your projects correctly, as well as spending time on the things that really matter in each project.
Shoot for the stars, but remember to take everything with a grain of salt, even a grain… of salt.
