Have you ever had fun playing with slime? Well, you are going to have more fun reading this Slime’s story. I bought this book when travelling to India during the coronavirus pandemic. We thought there would be long waiting hours, and I would be bored to death. I did read this book on the way home and went crazy with laughter! I am sure you would, too.

Eleven year old Ned was a child who spent his time on his wheelchair zooming around on the Island of Mulch. His older sister Jemima knew nothing better than playing horrid pranks on her little brother. She had a habit of collecting millions of things in jars, which is quite common. But, no, Jemima didn’t just collect those bird eggs or stones. Her trillions of jars contained perfectly nauseating things she used to play those horrid pranks on Ned. There was only enough water in the house to supply only one bath a day. Jemima used every drop. Every year, on Ned’s birthday, his parents would manage to convince Jemima to let her little brother take a bath, and Jemima couldn’t say no. She wanted revenge! But, there came a night when it was sure that Ned wouldn’t fall prey to her pranks ever again. The next morning, Ned decided to beat her at her own game, and Slime was created. Together they set out to take good care of all the children-hating grown-ups on the Island of Mulch.

David Williams illustrates this wonderfully hilarious story with his trapping words. Do you have fun reading? If yes, then this is a great book for you! If you love rough and tumble stories, there are a lot waiting for you! Once you read at least one of his books, you won’t stop hankering after his other books! Enjoy!
