Mummies are legendary. Many books have been written on them. Their stories include people finding some lost treasure or a hidden pyramid. This book is and isn’t one of them. Jack and Annie once again travel through time and arrive in the time of the ancient Egyptians. Like in many stories, they get lost in a pyramid but happen to meet Queen Hutepi’s ghost who is trying to find her way into the afterlife. Her brother had hidden the Book of the Dead, and she has been searching for it for 1000 years. Fortunately for her, Jack and Annie came along and helped her find what she had been looking for. Unfortunately for Jack and Annie, they lose their way, falling into the traps and misleading tunnels.

If she is Queen Hetepheres I, her father would be Pharoah Huni and her husband Pharoah Sneferu. Queen Hetepheres I is also the mother of Pharoah Khufu the first king to build one of the Great Pyramids of Giza. All of the books in this series are taken from a wide range of topics and can spark a sudden interest in you.
