Yu-Chang Hsu is a Professor of Educational Technology at Boise State University. His research focuses on mobile learning, augmented reality, gamification, maker education, STEAM education, and computer-supported collaborative learning. More recently, his work has explored the use of artificial intelligence in education. His research examines how emerging technologies can support learning, collaboration, creativity, and problem solving.
Hsu received his Ed.M. in Education and Technology from the University at Buffalo in 2005 and his Ph.D. in Instructional Systems from The Pennsylvania State University in 2009. He has published extensively in educational technology, including research on mobile augmented reality, maker education, and computational thinking.
