Frederick Lane is an attorney, a professional speaker on cybersecurity, and an author of multiple books on the subject of cybersecurity an cyberethics. He graduated from Amherst College and Boston College Law School, then clerked for the Massachusetts U.S. District Court's Chief Judge. He wrote numerous books on digital privacy and cyberethics in the public sphere, but has more recently turned to education. In addition to his written work, he also is a frequent public speaker at educational conferences around the country and has a podcast called Cybertraps which frequently features other educational leaders.
