I. The structure of VSTEP speaking skill

Part 1:
Social interaction – Candidates answer questions on 1-2 topics given by the examiner.

2. Scoring criteria of VSTEP speaking skill
- The score of the VSTEP Speaking test will focus on 5 important criteria, specifically as follows:
+ Vocabulary: The vocabulary presented in the candidate's speaking test must be related to the topic. Using more high-level words, the candidate will have an advantage and receive a high rating from the examiner.
(Từ vựng: Từ vựng được trình bày trong bài thi nói của thí sinh phải liên quan đến chủ đề. Dùng được nhiều từ trình độ cao thì thí sinh sẽ càng có lợi thế và nhận được đánh giá cao từ phía giám khảo chấm thi.)
+ Grammar: Candidates can achieve the basic score in this criterion if they use basic English grammar standards and achieve a higher score if they use a variety of English grammar such as: how to make simple sentences, complex sentences, compound sentences, using relative clauses...

TEST 1 (Suggested Answer)
Part 2:
Well, before I have to choose among three options: Taking no photos, taking with formal clothes, or with informal clothes. Let's talk about all of them.
Firstly, I reliably ignore option taking no photos at all. Graduation is a significant anniversary at the end of school's life. It's a pity if my friend's class doesn't do something to keep the memorable moments. Secondly, whereas formal clothes relevant to the atmosphere of ceremony, the formal clothes make individual to become unique. In my opinion, formal clothes are the best choice. Not only be a photograph with the same kind of costume will awesome, but also it shows the solidarity of collective.
For all reasons I put above. I'll choose taking photos with formal clothes as the best choice for them.
Part 3:
I would like to talk about that reading should be encouraging among teenagers because it brings many benefits. First, the most outstanding is that reading books helps us increasing knowledge. Books are written in many fields so they provide readers a lot of useful information and we will know better and understand about around life and social.
Second, mother plus point of this habit is that improve our memory. When we're reading, our brain will be stimulated in the best way to remember knowledge in the book and use it in studying and working. Finally, after school or working , reading book can reduce our stress. Because it's also considered a method of entertainment in spare time to help us feel comfortable and relax. In conclusion, reading habit has many advantages: increase knowledge, improve memory and reduce stress, so it should be encouraging teenagers.

Yes. Vietnamese people read books less than other countries, so this is a solution to encourage people to read more books. In my opinion, books should shared not to be sale.
3. How can parents encourage their kids to become interested in reading?
Parents should set an example for their children by regularly reading, children will copy and follow. That would be their interest when they grow up.
TEST 2 (Suggested Answer)
Part 2:
Well, before I have to choose among three options: Talking with his parents, with his friends or with his teacher. Let's talk about all of them.
Firstly I reliably ignore option reporting his situation to his parents. They can make a storm in a teacup. Harmful behaviors can be happened to defend their son. Maybe he will learn what they live. It has adverse effects to him. In my opinion, talking with his teacher is the best choice for me. It is easy to his teacher to find out about the incident. Since she compasses their students than anyone, the solution will be solved. Maybe some people consider that talking with his friends are better but the case is able to out of control.
Part 3:
There are a lot of solutions to improve educational systems. Firstly, revised curriculum and text books should be used in schools because we need to use a suitable curriculum for children and revised text books instead of wrong and uninteresting ones like in the present. Secondly, they also need to improve facilities schools such as standard desks and tables or modern equipment of teachings... Thirdly, another way to improve educational systems is that teacher has to improve their knowledge and professional. In brief, solutions to improving educational systems include revised curriculum and text, improved facilities and better teachers.
1. Is a education more important to a boy or a girl? Why?
Because Girls have the right same right to education as boys. Educated girls can make informed choices – and from a far better range of options. Educating girls saves lives and builds stronger families, communities and economies. An educated female population increases a country’s productivity and fuels economic growth.
2. Do you think schools should teach subjects like arts, music and dancing? Why (not)?
No, They shouldn’t be compulsory. They serve no actual benefit after graduation. Arts and music should be extras that the students choose out of desire to learn and not because the school requires it.

Sure, the Internet is a great store of knowledge if you know how to use it. So it can help you to find a lot of information you need using the internet. Alternatively, you can take online courses on the Internet.
