Speaking is probably one of the four skills that students find the most difficult, not only for non-specialists but even for good students, who sometimes face many difficulties. The curriculum in the textbook is very important. II. Grammar
- Grammar is very important, especially when speaking English. Here are some structures that you need to improve your Speaking skill:
+ Present simple: Students need to master the usage, rules, and conjugation of verbs in the right person of the present simple
Ex: I, you, we, they, PN + V +O
He, she, it , SN + V( s,es ) + O
- Besides mastering the grammar of the present simple, students also need to pay attention to conjugated verbs and infinitive verbs.
Ex: I go to school every day (The verb "go" here is not conjugated because the subject is I )
James plays badminton every weekend ( The verb “ plays” is conjugated because the subject is He/she/James )
- In Unit 1: Lifestyle, students need to pay attention to adverbs of frequency such as Often, seldom, rarely, every now and then, hardly ever, sometimes, never, always, and occasionally.
Example :
1. Nick always plays tennis in the evening.
2. We come here every now and then.
3. The place is rarely crowded.
4. Reshma has hardly ever gone on any trip.
5. My friends and their families get together occasionally.
6. She frequently keeps a check on her son.
7. Does Sadie visit you often?

Ex: I, you, we ,they, PN + be+ Ving +O (Attention : I+am , you we they+are )
He, she ,it, SN + be ( is ) + Ving +O
+ The present continuous is simpler than the present simple, just pay attention to the verb tube and add -ing to the verb.
Ex: I am playing soccer at the moment.
We are going to the cinema right now.
He/she is doing homework at present.
+ Students also need to pay attention to the time adverbs of the present continuous such as: now, right now, at the moment,………

IV. Suggested answers
Part 1:
- What do you often do in your free time?
I have always been a music lover, so whenever I have free time, I just put on my earphones and enjoy my favorite tunes. To me, music provides an escape from the busy life as it is both relaxing and therapeutic.
- What sports do you play?
I go kite-surfing sometimes. I enjoy it because it’s so exhilarating. I can’t go often, though, because there’s rarely enough wind where I live. I might take up another water sport instead.
Part 2:
I really enjoy doing yoga. I do yoga every week and I do it in two different places. Firstly, I do yoga in my bedroom. Sometimes I do it after a hard day at university but I usually do it in the morning. Secondly, I do yoga at a yoga centre near university. In my opinion, it keeps me healthy in different ways. It is good for my body because I have to be strong and fit. It’s really challenging! It is good for my mind too, because I have to focus my mind on one thing. It’s good to forget about studying and exams when you are tired. Finally, I like doing it because it’s important to keep fit and it makes me feel very relaxed and calm. I don’t like going to gyms or noisy places, so doing yoga at home or in a quiet class is great.
Part 3:
There’re many benefit when you have a healthy lifestyle. If you eat a lot of fast food, don't exercise, stay up too late and get up too late, you will be at risk of cardiovascular disease and respiratory disease. If this goes on for a long time, it will be stressful, exhausting and your life will be very boring. Secondly, you will save a lot of money. A lifestyle of healthy behaviors allows for more money in your pocket by increasing work productivity, eradicating doctor visits, and decreasing missed work due to feeling ill and unwell. You'll have extra funds to do things you love. The bottom line is that your life expectancy will be extended because a healthy life is the key to you living a long, disease-free, stress-free life.
1. Do you think most people worry more about their health as they get older?
Of course! In my opinion, once a person hits the 40s, they’re more likely to get signs of diseases and conditions like blood pressure, heart attack etc. So they become health-conscious and take precautionary measures.
2. How can people be encouraged to stay healthy?
One of the best ways a person can be encouraged to stay healthy is by talking to them about the health benefits. They can even promote health benefits through advertisements. People will get motivated and adopt a healthy lifestyle.
3. What are the most popular ways of keeping healthy in your country?
There are many ways to stay healthy and in my country, a majority of the youngsters prefer working out in gym and fitness center, while the middle-aged men and women prefer doing yoga, pilates, squats, and other exercises, and the old people prefer walking or jogging in the early morning to remain healthy.
That is all the content that you need to have to successfully complete a speaking lesson related to the topic: daily routine includes all grammar words, vocabulary, suggest ideas and some questions for the students. You practice speaking alone or with friends and maybe the test co-workers will ask you the same questions. A very interesting topic, it is very close to our lives, the things we do every day. I hope my article is more or less helpful to you, wish you have effective learning hours and useful!
