Rose Meire is an Indigenous person from the Apurinã people, Purus Region in the State of Amazonas. She has a degree in administration from UNINORTE (2009) and a postgraduate degree in Project Management from FGV. He worked from 2004 to 2009 at the State Foundation for the Indigenous Peoples of Amazonas in the areas of institutional planning and projects; from 2009 to 2015 as Coordinator of the Department of Social Promotion, Gender and Intellectual Property within the scope of the State Secretariat for Indigenous Peoples – SEIND/AM. She was Organizational Planning Manager at the Municipal Military House in Manaus (2016) and from 2016 to 2019 she also served as Technical Director of the State Indigenous Foundation – FEI/Am – FEI/Am and Planning and Project Advisor at the Secretariat of Justice, Human Rights and Citizenship. In 2020, she began working as a technical advisor for Podáali and in 2021 she was invited to join the Financial Board of the Indigenous Fund, taking on the position of Executive Vice-Director of Podáali in August of the same year.
