Brianna Walcott is a 22-year old, passionate advocate for youth and community development, and cultural and environmental conservation in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Currently serving as a Youth Officer with the Department of Youth Affairs under the Turks and Caicos Islands Government, she works closely with young people to promote leadership, education, and community-building initiatives. Previously, she served as an Education and Environmental Conservation Officer with the Turks and Caicos National Trust, where she played an integral role in promoting environmental awareness and preserving the cultural and historical heritage of the islands.
Brianna is also the President of the Rotaract Club of Providenciales, having previously served as Youth Services Director, Vice President and additionally as an advisor to the Interact Club of Providenciales. Through her involvement in Rotaract, she spearheads various initiatives centered around education, literacy, peacebuilding, and youth empowerment, while also promoting strategic partnerships that advance community development. These projects have included literacy and mentorship programs, environmental sustainability campaigns, and leadership workshops, all aimed at creating positive social impact.
In addition to her professional and volunteer roles, Brianna is a Social Sciences student at the University of the West Indies, where she also served as Secretary of the Chapter Development Taskforce. Her academic background and extensive hands-on experience have equipped her to be an effective mentor and advocate for youth and community resilience.
