The Caribbean Philanthropy in Action Week, taking place from October 21-27, 2024, aims to tackle the full spectrum of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through a series of targeted conferences and sessions.
Each day focuses on a different theme that relates directly to one or more of the SDGs, from addressing hunger and poverty to ensuring climate action, clean water, and gender equality. For example, sessions like Uniting for Climate Action align with SDG 13 (Climate Action), while Philanthropy Meets Creativity incorporates arts and culture to promote inclusive communities (SDG 11).
Through collaborative discussions and strategic partnerships, this weeklong event emphasizes the importance of philanthropy in fostering sustainable development across the Caribbean, bringing together thought leaders and advocates to create innovative solutions for the region's most pressing challenges.
