Cradle & Thumb Rolls

A Cradle is simple a way of holding your flag in the nook of your elbow, much like you would cradle a baby.

A Thumb Roll simply is where the flag pole rolls over your thumb. To gain control and grip strength, you do multiple thumb rolls as your hand re-grabs the pole in the same position over and over.

The exercise below combines the cradle position with thumb rolls so you can practice both at the same time!
