Artist's Statement: I was inspired to create this product photography piece out of my love for fashion. I really liked the design of this shoe I owned, so I wanted to explore how to make this shoe come more to life. The floral design was colorful and youth-like, but at the same time the more muted shades of the shoe gave a maturity to the design. I wanted to portray this combination of moods displayed in the shoe by creating an atmosphere where the product felt both, alluring and romantic with deep red roses and fun and light-hearted with the confetti, messy shoelaces, and free colorful marker strokes.
