Artist's Statement: I love to paint because it allows me to create scenes of stories in a way that is appealing to me and others. I often work on mythological scenes so this was a take on fairies and where they would live. I worked with the idea that fairies live under mushrooms and created a scene of a fairy community within the mushrooms of a tree. I often work on pieces like these in school while listening to music.
