A guide will help you keep the shape of your form as you are building it.
We will be using coil construction to make this project. This involves rolling cylindrical coils to stack on top of eachother, placing them in the desired shape of your planned creation.
Rubric- 12 points
Stability: sturdy, solid construction- 3 points
Meets Size Requirement: No larger than 5 inches in height- 2 points
Utilized Coil Construction Technique: each coil should rolled to even thickness (Sharpie marker thickness)- 2 points
Meld Interior Coils: Coils are smoothly blended together at least on the inside- 2 points
Craftsmanship- Coils/ blending is even, top edge is a consistent height, form has minimal bumps or irregularities- 2 points
Theme or Motif- Piece displays either a symbol or pattern that is recurring, or work is surrounded by an idea- 2 points
Documentation- Work is photographed on drive and submitted to classroom- 2 pts
