The tangram is a dissection puzzle consisting of seven flat polygons, called tans, which are put together to form shapes. The objective is to replicate a pattern using all seven pieces without overlap.
The Challenge-
1) In Adobe Illustrator, create a document at 8.5x 11 inches.
2)Place the image below on the right into the document to trace each shape.
3)Next, use ONLY these provided seven shapes to create 4 animal figures. All seven shapes must be used for each animal. Examples are below as well as a rubric.
4) Export as a JPEG at 300ppi to google classroom.
Rubric- 1 extra credit point
All seven shapes must be used
All shapes must be touching but not overlapping
Shapes must be colored correctly- use the letter labeled document for reference
Four complete animal forms must be created
