Byrne Creek's Student Government is passionate about supporting our school community. We want to bring people together, build connections, and establish a feeling of H.E.A.R.T. We do this by hosting special events and spirit weeks, by promoting student wellness, and by giving service to our school community.

Students can get involved with this program at the club-level or at the class-level.
Club members attend weekly meetings, and help plan and run Student Government activities.
Class members have an additional weekly meeting, and use this time to explore and develop specific leadership skills.

Class registration is open to Grade 9-12 students. Please complete an application and choose Student Government during course selections.
Club members (8-12) can join in September or at any point throughout the year. All are welcome!

Student Government Highlights

17th Annual Hamper Drive
In December we partnered with the Community Room to collect donations, organize and pack hampers for families in our community over the winter break. We organized food sales, class-to-class collections, incentives, and a benefit concert.
This year we raised almost $7000 in cash and received several thousand dollars' worth of food donations.
We packed hampers for over 70 local families.
