Although Byrne Creek's Library Learning Commons has a wonderful selection of books and reference materials, it offers much more. This is a collaborative and innovative learning space with a wide range of materials, tools and people to support students' learning.

- An Inspiration Maker Lab Space with Green Screen and
Cricut Digital Cutting Machine - 17 desktop and 16 laptop computers
- 16 iPads focusing on multi-media production.
(Animation, podcasting, multi-modal texts, green screen, design programs) - Free access to materials such as felts, meter sticks, Exacto knives, scissors, paper cutters, photocopier...
- Headphones, and microphones for Podcasting
- After school tutoring program (SUCCESS)
- Maker Club Activities to learn how to use different technologies and tools in the LLC.
- A collection of board games, puzzles and collaborative activities for students to meet and spend time together.
- A small but growing collection of multilingual titles.
- Online resources that can be accessed from home. (Encyclopedias, Databases, NFB film library, CBC Curio and more)
- A Full-time Teacher Librarian who can answer questions, track-down resources, help trouble shoot tech issues and teach classes on a range of topics.
