Visual Arts

An opportunity for students to practice and learn drawing skills and painting techniques by using Pencil Crayon, Watercolor, Chalk /Oil Pastel, Acrylic, and Multi-Media, along with making portfolios at the AP level.

Students will learn to create designs and develop their knowledge regarding the ways in which content, design elements, available computer technology, and materials can be used to translate ideas and concepts into successful design solutions.

Students will explore and analyze the form and content of media and its influence on culture and society. They will work on developing and creating projects in graphic design, animation, illustration, film and photography. As well as exploring and understanding Adobe software (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro).
