We use warm-ups to improve our technical playing on our instrument. Different warm-ups help us improve different parts of our playing. Long notes improve our sound and scales improve our finger movements. We can use warm-ups to practice getting better at tonguing, slurring, dynamics, holding our instruments correctly and anything else that we want to improve.
These short versions of scales are useful for a quick warm-up. On the second page you will find suggestions of different ways to practice the scales. Pick some things you want to improve on or get someone at home to call the numbers at random for you.
