Boys:-
Long sleeve black shirt, black trousers, BMS tie, black socks and black shoes.
Girls:-
Black shirt/blouse, black skirt (below knee when sat down) or trousers, black tights/socks and black shoes. Black dresses are also permitted within the following guidelines: they must cover shoulders, sit below the knee when sat down and cover tops of arms. Dresses and blouses must not have a low cut neckline. BMS tie is optional for girls if they are not wearing a shirt.
BMS Ties – if you have one, please bring it. If you need one we can lend you one on the day.

Anyone not following this dress code will not be permitted to perform on the stage. If you have any questions, please ask. We do not want to be in the position of not allowing pupils to perform if they arrive with unsuitable clothing.
Pete studied at the Royal College of Music before his conducting career started in London’s West End with Crazy For You (Prince Edward Theatre), Disney’s Beauty & the Beast (Dominion Theatre) and Lautrec (Theatre Royal, Plymouth and Shaftesbury Theatre).
He is a regular guest conductor and presenter with many orchestras including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the Philharmonia, the New Russian State Symphony Orchestra (Novaya Rossiya), the Ulster Orchestra, the BBC National Orchestra of Wales and the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.
His work with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra includes their Last Night of the Christmas Proms concerts since 2010 as well as their regular series of film music concerts including Heroes & Superheroes (1 & 2), Heroes & Aliens, Heroes & Legends and Heroes & Monsters. Past concerts include their Classic FM live concert at the Royal Albert Hall, Symphonic Queen, Chilled Out Classics, Abba Spectacular, Disco Symphonic Spectacular, Symphonic 80s and Symphonic Pink Floyd.
Pete is also a regular conductor and presenter for Raymond Gubbay Ltd. Past concerts include Spectacular Classics, The Best of Bond, Zimmer v. Williams, Star Wars and Beyond – A Space Spectacular, Abba Classics, New Year’s Eve Gala Concerts, Last Night of the Summer Proms and Superheroes at the Symphony.
Studio work includes the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra at the Smecky Music Studios Prague as well as the BBC and regular UK session work. Pete is regularly in the studio with composers Adam Saunders & Mark Cousins.
Education work includes the National Youth Wind Orchestra of Great Britain, the National Youth Wind Orchestra of Wales, Kent County Youth Orchestra, Berkshire Youth Symphony Orchestra for Berkshire Maestros and the Symphony Orchestra and Symphonic Wind Orchestra of Wells Cathedral School.
He is the Musical Director of the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra Voices based in Southampton, partnered with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.
