B.B Kings is a master of blues guitar with his own unique style and sound. What he plays might sound simple but has a unique way of phasing melodies and he always plays the right notes.

B.B King leaves lots of space within his solos making each phrase a real statement. Here he is playing over a minor blues progression in the key of C minor.

He makes great use of positions 1 and 2 of the minor pentatonic scale and adds a cheeky use of the blues scale in bar 8.
