ABRSM Exams

Face to face Practical Instrumental and Singing exams at a Public Exam Centre:

Public exam centres for practical examinations closest to Brent are; Harrow, Ealing, Pinner and Hampstead. 

You will need to book and pay via the ABRSM portal. Follow this link https://gb.abrsm.org/en/ to reach the ABRSM homepage. Click on 'Exams' and then 'Book an exam'. This will redirect you to the ABRSM portal where you are able to create and register a new account in order to book your child's exam.

You will receive all details for your child's exam after entering. This will include the date, time and location. Please share this information with your music teacher as soon as you have been given it so they know how many lessons they will have left to prepare.

Digital Instrumental and Singing Performance Exams:

Candidates taking a remotely-assessed exam make a continuous video recording of their performance, which they submit using the ABRSM online exam booking service.

For performance Grades, candidates perform four pieces- three from the syllabus and a fourth of their own choice (decided and learnt with their instrumental teacher)

Online Video Submission: Date selected during July: these are allocated on a first come first serve basis and your video must be uploaded by the exam submission date given. Please book early to ensure you are able to get a slot and preferred date.
