Shop Highlights: A sandwich menu that rivals the best, fresh baked on premises, welcoming vibes

Total Package Review: Just like the other Tompkins location I have visited, this one is full of hip folks looking for an elevated bagel experience. The bagels are hand rolled and boiled and quite delicious. Their sandwiches use fresh ingredients and offer some options not found at other shops. The sandwich I had was excellent. Only downsides are the trendiness of the place and the sense of elitism I feel, likely because of the high prices for higher quality product. $8.50 for a caprese sandwich.

Shop Ambiance: This location is on Ave A adjacent to its namesake park. Interior is clean but worn and casual. A few places to sit and eat as well as a small outdoor area in the back. Flattop and oven are on display behind a half wall. All spreads are on display as well. 

Personal History with Shop: Anna and I visited this shop in 2023 for a much needed lunch.
