Shop Highlights: Fresh baked bagels
Total Package Review: While this shop does bake bagels daily they are a self proclaimed donut restaurant. Still, I had to give them a try. The bagels came in at a steep $3.25 for a bulk bagel and they had just a few bagel varieties. They also have grab-and-go bagel sandwiches but none that are vegetarian. Bagel lacked proper crust but the chew was actually quite good. They use corn meal on the bottom of the bagel to avoid sticking to the baking tray but it was so thick I had to scrape it off with a butter knife before it was tolerable.Â
Total Package Score: 3 / 10
Bagel Score: 3 / 10
Shop Ambiance: This shop is located on a busy road in Durango in a vehicle-centric part of town. The building is a bit outdated in a diner sort of way. Lots of room to sit in and eat.
Personal History with Shop: I tried Durango Doughworks in May 2024 while visiting Fynn and Hallie.
