Total Package Review: Sparrow bakes lots of things well including bagels. They also have a sandwich menu with new age flavors and unique ingredient combinations. Their bagels are quite good and come at a craft bakery price. Employees are in the bakery creating handcrafted goods all day long. They also distribute throughout Bend and Portland, where their second location is.

Shop Ambiance: I've only been to the Northwest Crossing location and it's in a somewhat gross neighborhood that's been built in the past ten years. There is little character and is designed around the automobile as the primary form of transport. The shop itself is a hip bend bakery, just like you would expect. Baked goods are on display for you to choose from and people are milling about on their computers liking 'working from home'.

Personal History with Shop: Anna and I ate at Sparrow while visiting Bend in the spring of 2022. I went back in for another bagel because it was very tasty.
