Shop Highlights: Bare bones, no-frill, shop that serves phenomenal bagels fresh all day, hand-rolled and baked on premises

Total Package Review: This is the type of bagel shop that delivers consistent quality without any of the 'extra' that drives up prices and attracts the 'gramers. With constant foot traffic they're able to offer HOT bagels all day long. The presence of a decent egg breakfast sandwich menu is a major plus. Total Package Score could come up to a 10 if their sandwich menu offered a little more flavor punch or a unique flavor spin setting it apart from other shops. But then again, this is a no-frills shop that absolutely excels at what it does. Another thing that could've gotten the TPS to a 10 was more personal and friendly service. I was just another face they needed to get through the line.

Shop Ambiance: This is the type of shop where all of the once-white surfaces have faded to that outdated yellow color we associate with grandma's house. Despite this fact, the smell that smacks you in the face upon entering lets you know every single bagel is as fresh as ever. The waiting area reminds me of an outdated living room with haphazard plants and decor. Classic cash only sort of joint. This is the type of bagel shop that has a constant stream of customers all day long looking for a no-frill bagel experience. 

Personal History with Shop: Visited this shop in 2022 right after a breakfast sandwich at Bo's Bagels. Having just eaten a full sandwich I opted for a fresh raw dog bagel. It was so good and so fresh I had to go in for another. I watched an entire tray of plains come out of the oven and one of them was in my hand within a minute. Needless to say, I rarely get the opportunity to taste a bagel so fresh. 

Returned in 2024 to get a freshy to raw dog.
