Sorry to rub it in, but this is the harsh reality of material existence.
Within the mothers womb, and at the time of birth, the living entity suffers terribly. Attachment to the body is only made possible by the pain of birth, which causes one to completely forget these horrible experiences.
As an infant, one suffers greatly. Although wanting to speak, he can not do so. The cutting of his teeth is very painful. Diseases and ghosts always plague small children. A small child might even eat stool out of ignorance, What happiness is there in this?
When he grows up a little, a child is chastised by his parents. He suffers while learning to read and write, and is often chastised by his teachers. How can there be any happiness in youth, when one is greatly disturbed by lust? There is so much pain cause by jealousy. Being disturbed by lust, the young man cannot even sleep peacefully at night. During the day, how can there be happiness when one is always hankering for money?
There is a great struggle to earn money and there is great anxiety in trying to preserve it. When money is lost, stolen, or spent, there is only grief. How can one imagine that he will become happy by possessing wealth? Just a man always fears death, a wealthy person is afraid of thieves, flood, fire, kinsmen, and governments. What happiness is derived from wealth?
Padma Purana:
Srila Prabhupada has shown us the door out of this place, just by following his instructions we can walk through that doorway, enter the land of no return, full of happiness and eternity,
Always think of the Lotus Feet of Lord Krishna and you will find no difficulties in executing the tasks allotted to you by Krishna.
The holy name of Krishna has extraordinary spiritual potency because the name of God is non different from God Himself
Chant these names with love and you will feel the ecstasy:
Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare
Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare ...
हरे कृष्ण हरे कृष्ण कृष्ण कृष्ण हरे हरे || हरे राम हरे राम राम राम हरे हरे||
