History

Before the rise of the Unistus Court, the Fae of Thorin were untamed, fragmented, and endlessly at war. The earliest Fae existed in courts of elemental fury: wildfire spirits, bloodthorns, duskstalkers, all who roamed the continent without order. They feasted, fought, and flourished in maddening cycles. It was only after the collapse of the first Eclipse War, a catastrophic conflict between the courts of Day and Night, that a collective of high Fae united to form a central seat of balance: Unistus, meaning "to dream together" in Old Fae.

The Unistus Court claimed a neutral central position in the continent of Thorin, and over time evolved into its capital. All seven courts were given a voice here, and thus, the monarchs were tasked with overseeing  all of Thorin, not as dictators, but as keepers of balance. Since then, the court has grown into the political and cultural heart of the Fae realm. But beneath the beauty and unity lies fractured alliances, noble intrigues, and old scars. Not everyone welcomes the crown's soft hand.
