Overview

Thorin is the oldest known continent in the world of Ajagar. Magic permeates everything, and where Brelaton thrives in diversity and invention, Thorin is the realm of the primordial. This land is defined by its Faerie powers. While countless fae tribes, noble houses, and wild spirits roam the land, the continent's political and magical structure revolves around seven primary factions; four seasonal courts, two celestial courts, and a single united court.

The Seasonal Courts:

Summer Court- Seelie fae, masters of fire.
Autumn Court- Unseelie fae, masters of earth.
Winter Court- Unseelie fae, masters of water
Spring Court- Seelie fae, masters of wind.

The Celestial Courts:

Day Court- Seelie fae, masters of light.
Night Court- Unseelie fae, masters of darkness.

The United Court:

Unistus Court- The throne of Thorin, bringing fae of all life together.

Currency: The Atula

The world of Ajagar operates on two primary currencies; Caeda of Brelaton and Atula of Thorin, both of which are valued by weight. While pounds (lb) and kilograms (kg) are understood across both continents, Brelaton predominantly uses the pound system, whereas Thorin favors kilograms. The current exchange rate is: 1 Atula = 0.6 Caeda

Thorin's currency is the Atula, coins crafted from shimmering platinum. Each coin weighs 30 grams (1.6 oz). It bears a starlit tree on one side, and a mana sigil on the other. Platinum is found in abundance and is treasured as one of the most powerful magical conductors in Ajagar.
