For now, I want to make more body mechanics animations in the future, so I will do more body mechanics related animation exercises to improve my animation ability.
At the same time, I also plan to participate in animation activities in my spare time in the future to make friends with more animators and learn about the animation industry.

plan for final year
After studying this course this semester, I have a clearer understanding of my future development and career direction, and to a certain extent, I have determined the direction in which I need to work hard in the future.
I currently feel like I'm okay with both Previz Animation and Polished Animation, but I prefer the latter because I can fill in more details when refining the animation. I have a strong interest in body mechanics animation, and I am more willing to work on it, so I won't feel bored when doing it. At the same time, I am interested in the animation of the human body and other objects, and I hope to make more body mechanics animations. In terms of style, stylised animation is the area where I will be better at, but realistic animation is also something I am very interested in. I hope to make and learn both in the future.
At present, I am more proficient in body mechanics. When I was learning lip syncing, I felt that lip syncing was a bit boring for me and I couldn't concentrate on it. But when I was doing the upper body animation of the character in lip syncing, I could concentrate. It made me realize that I am more interested in body mechanics, and my initial plan for the future is to be a body mechanics animator.
I am not very proficient in performing facial expressions in live action. I don’t know how to best control my facial expressions when shooting live action, and I often appear expressionless. As a result, when making animations, I can only roughly imagine the changes in the character’s expressions. This is not a good situation for animation production. I still need to relax myself more in acting and be more relaxed with my facial expressions and body language.
I am much more proficient in body mechanics animation than before, and I can find the most suitable action positions more quickly. This is a significant improvement in my animation skills, and I am quite satisfied with it.
But I still have some trouble grasping the timing of some characters' large and high-speed body movements. The animations that looked fast in the references looked several times slower in my animations. It was only after I made several revisions that I saw significant improvements. I still need to pay more attention to the position of each action and the blocking action issues.
I think this semester has helped me improve my animation skills. On the one hand, my live action performance is not as stiff as last semester, and on the other hand, my animation skills has also improved. At the same time, I also learned new knowledge, animation rigging, which has also been very helpful for me.
I hope that in the next semester I can improve my performance level and body mechanics animation level as well.
