Production progress of my individual project
Week 1
On the Vehicle Rigs website, I looked at a number of different vehicles. After researching vehicles, I think cars are more suitable for me, so I choose cars as the subject of my personal animation work.
There are many themes in social issues. After many thoughts and theme combinations, I chose bullying and disability as the keywords of my work.Â
Week 2
I search for movies on the topics of the social issues I want to focus on and get a general idea of which ones to watch to help me with my writing.
Week 3
I want to make an animation of a person riding a bicycle and finally coming to a stop.
I found this model in the Pre-Viz Rig store, which just met my needs, so I chose it to make my animation.
This model has a lot of controllers and can be animated very well.
Both the character and the bike have controllers, which are suitable for making details.
Week 4
I learned modeling for the first time and followed the tutorial to make a model of a pink house.Â
Modeling with maya was a new experience for me and I learned a lot. Modeling requires careful comparison with the image and the use of various functions to get the desired result. When I was modeling the window, because I forgot extrude, the window did not get the desired result and I had to remake it. The learning of modeling is very useful to me, which can help me to make the existing models by myself in the future animation production.
