An international bonspiel with extensive social activities for out-of-town teams and selected Utica teams (based on performance in the Mixed Championship). There are six medal events and a 4-game guarantee. Trophy presentations: President's Cup, winner of the first event; Curler's Cooler, runner-up of the first event; Silver Tassie, winner of the second event; The Ice Box, winner of the third event; and Friendship Trophy, winner of the fourth event.

Previous Events
history
Utica's first mixed bonspiel was held in 1953. The intent of the original bonspiel, was camaraderie, fellowship, courteous competition, and a heck of a good time. That year was also the first year that Art & Marie Cobb curled. They enjoyed the warm welcome that they soon made the curling club their home away from home. Over the years, the Cobbs gave to the club and to the sport so that others could experience what they enjoyed. In 1997, the mixed bonspiel was named for Marie Cobb, and 10 years later, it was renamed the Cobb Bonspiel in memory of both Art and Marie. Through their efforts, we can gather together to enjoy the camaraderie of our fellow curlers.
