Happy Hallow..."I mean Friday!"
WOW!! This week has been super, super busy! When parents asked the, "What did you do at school today?" question, the response should not have been "NOTHING."
The general consensus by many people is that once the sports season ends, everything slows down. In reality we probably have not had a busier week of school than this one. This was Red Ribbon Week. A big shout out to Mr. Long for coordinating our week's worth of events and activities. We had students attend an event at FHSU. We had a presentation by the Ellsworth County drug dog. Celebrated halloween. Our 7th-9th graders visited residents at Wilson Care and Rehab.
All of our 7th-12th graders were provided the FutureMaker opportunity. FutureMaker is a virtual mobile and classroom lab that gave our students experiences in physics, welding, painting and riveting. A huge "thank you" to all of our junior and senior high teachers for their flexibility with the days schedule.
Scholars Bowl competitions begin next week. Thank you to Mrs Slechta for again leading this group of Dragons.
On Friday, November 8, we will be hosting our Annual Veterans' Day celebration.
Everyone have a safe and relaxing weekend!!
