Beautiful Friday Dragons!!
The Dragon JH basketball teams kicked off their seasons this week by hosting the Wilson Lake Shoot-Out on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. After three hard fought games our girls' team came away with first place medals as they were victorious in each of their contests. Great Job girls!
Our boys' team came away with some very valuable experience and a 1-2 record. The boys opened their season with a win, but then fell in OT to Sylvan and lost on Thursday to Lakeside. Keeping working hard, be coachable and keep the game fun!
Our high school Scholars Bowl team took 3rd place in the Sylvan tournament on Thursday. Great job Dragons!
We had 12 students go to Hays on Thursday to compete in the FHSU Math Relays. Our team of sophomores came away with 6th place in their division. Westin H took 10th place in one of the individual contests in the senior division. Awesome job Dragons!
On Tuesday we recognized our KSHSAA coaches and sponsors for their time, hard work and leadership. THANK YOU!
Tonight, our Dragon Booster Club is hosting a Bingo Night in the school commons! The weather is beautiful and they have some wonderful prize baskets so we are anticipating a great turnout!

- This week around the state is Fall Athletic Buffer Week.
- The 5th graders continue their trip to StarBASE in Salina.
- The Wilson Jr. High Dragons competed in the Wilson Lake Round Robin Shoot Out.
- Twelve WHS students represented Wilson at the FHSU Math Relays. Math Relays are sponsored by Mark Spears.

Wilson Elementary teachers are planning a walking field trip for their students on Thursday, November 21st. The students will be visiting the egg and observing the Union Pacific steam engine going through town. Teachers will be presenting cultural lessons about our community as they walk. Students and teachers will be enjoying a sack lunch in the park.
