Merry Dragon Christmas and Happy 2020!
Scenes from the Fall ‘19 incentive days.” The Giving Dragon Christmas Shopping spree, gift wrapping and food basket giving. Friday morning the Junior high and high school staff and teachers cooked and served breakfast to all junior high and high school students. Our way of thanking them for their hard work and wishing them a merry Christmas and a happy new year. The elementary support staff, Mrs. Thielen and Mrs. Gourley sponsored a day at the movies for our elementary students at the Lucas theater on Friday afternoon.
When students return on January 6, the junior high and high school students will be given new passwords to login to their power school account. I encourage our students not to give out their user ID and password to anyone other than mom and dad.
Merry Christmas to you all and thank you for everything you do to make Wilson School the very special place that it is!
Junior and senior high school students participated in "Favorites Friday". In the morning, teachers had a pancake breakfast for all the students. Students then played board and card games in the Commons.
A "new" game for a lot of them was 10-Point Pitch. Not only did the students really get into the strategies and problem solving around this game...but some are looking forward to playing with their families over the holidays.
Teachers were asked throughout the week what their favorites movies were. Five movies were chosen to show Friday afternoon.
To end the school day, the cheerleaders held a pep rally for the home game held Friday evening.
