Adjustment of Deadlines in Connection with the 2025 Midterm Election: Deadline of Completion of Requirements - 16 May 2025
Over the years, the AA community has actively conducted and participated in events for the further cultivation and appreciation of the Arts and Humanities. Along with these, various outputs were made with contributions from AA students, faculty, staff, and alumni. Through these outputs, the artistic and creative talents of the community are successfully showcased to all stakeholders of the AA program.
2021 AA Artworks Planner.pdfThe AA Artworks planner is a project that features the various artworks of students in the Associate in Arts (AA) program. This project also seeks to encourage more AA students to showcase their talents and to create any form of art in any medium and style. This planner serves as the community education and public awareness (CEPA) initiative for what lies at the very heart of the AA program--the students' love of the Arts and Humanities.
The AA Digital Humanities Fiesta Memoirs is the creative output of the AA students with the support of the AA program, which features reflections and artistic works of the AA community. Through this, the events that took place during the 2021 AA Digital Humanities Workshop Series, which featured workshops on podcasting, digital art illustration, website creation, and creative writing as well as the 2021 AA Digital Humanities Fiesta, were showcased.
In 2022, the AA program held the second installment of the AA Digital Humanities Workshop Series, which featured workshops on video editing, photography, and creative writing; and the AA Digital Humanities Fiesta. With this, the AA students and AA program worked together once again to produce the 2022 AA Digital Humanities Fiesta Memoirs.
Final Layout of FEd Token.pdfWith the support of the University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) Faculty of Education (FEd), the Associate in Arts (AA) program held the 2024 AA Art Contest with the theme: “Experiences as a UPOU Student” exclusively for current AA students to join. The contest ran from August to October 2024, wherein various types of artworks were submitted and are all featured in this notebook.
The 2024 AA Art Contest not only showcased the creativity and prowess of AA students in the Arts and Humanities but also provided them with a meaningful opportunity to express their feelings and convey their stories as UPOU students through their own artworks.
