Adjustment of Deadlines in Connection with the 2025 Midterm Election: Deadline of Completion of Requirements - 16 May 2025
Right after the end of each trimester, it is a good practice to update your POS and curriculum checklist from the start until your completion of the program. For further information on how to do so, you may refer to this link.
While updating your POS and curriculum checklist, it will help to check if you have any other concerns as a continuing student as shown below. In case there are, you may adjust your program documents accordingly and include these in your request for academic advising:
At least four weeks before the start of the registration period in a specific term, you will be requested (via email) to accomplish and submit the pre-advising form. Upon filling this out, kindly wait for 2-3 days for the review of your academic record. If your case is complicated, it might take even longer given that supporting documents and information still need to be gathered and confirmed. Please note that the order of advising is on a first come-first served basis.
Do note that if you are unable to send your request for advising within the schedule given, please expect that your advising will be provided during the enrollment period itself. Thus, there is a possibility that you will experience a longer waiting time as students with other concerns will also be attended at that time.
If you did not get the chance to accomplish and submit the pre-advising form, and if you are unsure of what courses to take or whether you are taking the right courses, you should email the AA Program Chair (aa-program-chair@upou.edu.ph) for academic advising, where your updated POS and curriculum checklist should be attached. In sending your email, ensure that you are using your UP email account.
