Dr Zuriati Ibrahim

Zuriati Ibrahim, is a senior lecturer and dietitian in the Department of Dietetics. Her research interests include clinical dietetics practice focussing on the nutrition care process (NCP), nutrition intervention for malnutrition and cancer, geriatric nutrition, motivational interviewing in behaviour modification, personality traits and health status, innovative health technologies and qualitative enquiry.
Her teaching expertise includes NCP, nutrition counselling and patient education. From 2011-2018 she was the Head of Dietetics Unit in the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics. She has served as the Program Coordinator for Bachelor Sc (Dietetics) from 2011-2014.
She has held Visiting Academic at University of Glasgow in 2018-2019, Karolinska University Hospital, and Hanze University of Applied Sciences, The Netherlands in April 2019. She is an ordinary member of the Malaysian Dietitians’ Association, a life member of Nutrition Society of Malaysia and Enteral and Parenteral Society of Malaysia.
