PATCH (Palm Tocotrienols in Chronic Hemodialysis) is a multi-countries project headed by Prof. Pramod Khosla from Wayne State University as a Principal Investigator. For Malaysia arm, my colleagues Prof. Tilakavati Karupaiah and myself headed this project. Bangladesh in particular is lacking dietetics workforce / formally trained dietitians due to unavailability of dietetics program. As such kidney nutrition care are conducted by nutritionist that are lacking in clinical training.
