This last Friday, February 23rd, University Preparatory High School (UPHS) held its annual Panda Goes Dance! Our dance took place at the Naz Youth Center, and was beautifully decorated to the theme: Masquerade! UPHS’s leadership team, who chose the prompt, was responsible for the decorations, which brought the student-selected theme to life. Leadership also had masks available for purchase, which many students purchased to complete their masquerade costumes! 

Psyrylle Cabute, UPHS’s very own foreign exchange student talked about how much fun she had at at this dance; she danced with her friends, took pictures, and more. She talked about how she would be eager to go to another dance, saying “As an exchange student, I want to grab every single opportunity to spend with my friends, to spend with UPHS students.” She continued, “Everything that’s been happening to me has been a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.” There was food, music, and games, and our students had an awesome time, and a break from the stresses of school!
